The CPE is supported by a team of dedicated<br \/>\n                                staff from SSG to regulate the sector, provide student services, consumer education and<br \/>\n                                facilitate capability development efforts to uplift standards in the local private<br \/>\n                                education industry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\"><b>Following regulations, Big Foot Global Academy implemented the<br \/>\n                                    following scheme:<\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"accordion w-100 college-policy-accordion\" id=\"accordionExample\">\n<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n<h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"headingOne\">\n                                        <button class=\"accordion-button\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\"\n                                            data-bs-target=\"#collapseOne\" aria-expanded=\"true\"\n                                            aria-controls=\"collapseOne\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\"><b> Standard PEI-Student Contract <\/b><\/p>\n<p>                                        <\/button><br \/>\n                                    <\/h2>\n<div id=\"collapseOne\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse show\"\n                                        aria-labelledby=\"headingOne\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordionExample\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">It is a legal requirement from CPE that all students must<br \/>\n                                                enter into the Student Contract prior to commencing at Big Foot Global<br \/>\n                                                Academy (BFGA). The Student Contract is a critical document that helps<br \/>\n                                                to minimize future disputes; therefore, it is essential that it be<br \/>\n                                                completely understood by the student (parents\/legal guardians where a<br \/>\n                                                student is younger than 18 years of age) prior to enrollment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">Each contract is valid only for admission to one course.<br \/>\n                                                Students are required to sign two original sets of student contracts and<br \/>\n                                                will retain one set for personal reference. No fields will be left blank<br \/>\n                                                in the student contract. Where non-applicable, it will be filled with<br \/>\n                                                \u201cN.A.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">If any amendment is made which will change the original<br \/>\n                                                intent of the contract, the student and BFGA must sign beside the<br \/>\n                                                amendment on both sets of the student contracts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">BFGA will provide the student with a cooling-off period<br \/>\n                                                of seven (7) working days after the date that the contract has been<br \/>\n                                                signed by both parties. The student will be refunded the highest<br \/>\n                                                percentage stated in the Refund Table of the fees already paid if the<br \/>\n                                                student submits a written notice of withdrawal to the BFGA within the<br \/>\n                                                cooling-off period, regardless of whether the student has started the<br \/>\n                                                course or not.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/viewer?url=https:\/\/sddigitalcommunication.com\/demo3\/bigfoot\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/9a_standard-pei-student-contract-version-4-0.pdf&#038;embedded=true\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color: black; text-decoration: none;\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to view the sample of Standard PEI-Student Contract<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n<h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"headingTwo\">\n                                        <button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\"\n                                            data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapseTwo\"\n                                            aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapseTwo\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\"><b>Course Transfer <\/b><\/p>\n<p>                                        <\/button><br \/>\n                                    <\/h2>\n<div id=\"collapseTwo\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\"\n                                        aria-labelledby=\"headingTwo\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordionExample\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">A course transfer refers to a situation where a student<br \/>\n                                                who is enrolled in BFGA course wishes to change to another course but<br \/>\n                                                remains as a student of BFGA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">All request must be made in writing by completing the<br \/>\n                                                Course Transfer Request Form. For students that are under 18 years of<br \/>\n                                                age, written consent from the parent\/legal guardian must be obtained.\n                                            <\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">All course transfer requests shall be accompanied with a<br \/>\n                                                valid reason and subject to approval by Principal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">Before the transfer of course, a Pre-Course Counselling<br \/>\n                                                shall be conducted for the student.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">The student must also fulfill all the admissions criteria<br \/>\n                                                of the new course and will be subjected to BFGA\u2019s student selection and<br \/>\n                                                admission procedures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">The student will have to complete the installment<br \/>\n                                                payments for all overdue fees of the existing course (if any) and<br \/>\n                                                returned outstanding property (if any) such as library books etc.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">The Refund Policy shall apply if the requirements of the<br \/>\n                                                refund are met unless as otherwise agreed between BFGA and the Student.\n                                            <\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">A student requesting for a course transfer within BFGA<br \/>\n                                                must withdraw from the existing course by cancelling the existing<br \/>\n                                                student contract before signing a new student contract for the new<br \/>\n                                                course.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">BFGA and student shall sign a new Standard PEI-Student<br \/>\n                                                Contract.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt tick\">The transfer process will be completed within 4<br \/>\n                                                weeks to effect the course transfer and subject to ICA approval.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n<h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"headingThree\">\n                                        <button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\"\n                                            data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapseThree\"\n                                            aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapseThree\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\"><b>Course Withdrawal <\/b><\/p>\n<p>                                        <\/button><br \/>\n                                    <\/h2>\n<div id=\"collapseThree\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\"\n                                        aria-labelledby=\"headingThree\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordionExample\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">A course withdrawal refers to a situation where a student<br \/>\n                                                who withdraws from BFGA to transfer to another school or return to<br \/>\n                                                his\/her native country for whatever reasons shall be deemed to have<br \/>\n                                                withdrawn from BFGA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">A student who wishes to withdraw from a course after<br \/>\n                                                commencement shall inform BFGA in writing by completing the Course<br \/>\n                                                Withdrawal Request Form. For students that are under 18 years of age,<br \/>\n                                                written consent from the parent\/legal guardian must be obtained.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">An interview session will be arranged with BFGA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">The student will have to complete the installment<br \/>\n                                                payments for all overdue fees of the existing course (if any) and return<br \/>\n                                                outstanding property (if any).<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">Once approval is given, the notification of course<br \/>\n                                                withdrawal application will be given to the student. The refund policy<br \/>\n                                                and procedures shall apply if he\/she is eligible for a refund.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">The withdrawal process will have to be completed within 4<br \/>\n                                                weeks from the receipt of the request for withdrawal.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n<h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"headingFour\">\n                                        <button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\"\n                                            data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapseFour\"\n                                            aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapseFour\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\"><b> Course Deferment <\/b><\/p>\n<p>                                        <\/button><br \/>\n                                    <\/h2>\n<div id=\"collapseFour\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\"\n                                        aria-labelledby=\"headingFour\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordionExample\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">Deferment would mean that the student will postpone the<br \/>\n                                                current course (or module) they are attending to a later date. There is<br \/>\n                                                a need to sign a new contract and\/or an addendum to the existing<br \/>\n                                                contract. Students are allowed to defer only once up to a maximum of 6<br \/>\n                                                months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">Student shall submit their deferment request in writing<br \/>\n                                                to BFGA by completing the Course\/Exam Deferment Request form with<br \/>\n                                                supporting documentation for the reason to defer. For student below the<br \/>\n                                                age of 18, the parent\/legal guardian\u2019s consent is obtained.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">Academic department shall obtain approval from Principal<br \/>\n                                                to effect the request and thereafter, inform the student accordingly.\n                                            <\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">BFGA shall provide the student to sign a new student<br \/>\n                                                contract or an addendum to the existing student contract.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">The student will have to complete the installment<br \/>\n                                                payments for all overdue fees of the existing course (if any) and return<br \/>\n                                                outstanding property (if any).<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">If approved, BFGA will prepare a new PEI-Student contract<br \/>\n                                                or an addendum to the existing contract to cover the entire period of<br \/>\n                                                study.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">The deferment process will have to be completed within 4<br \/>\n                                                weeks from the receipt of the request for deferment.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n<h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"headingFive\">\n                                        <button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\"\n                                            data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapseFive\"\n                                            aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapseFive\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\"><b>Refund Policy<\/b><\/p>\n<p>                                        <\/button><br \/>\n                                    <\/h2>\n<div id=\"collapseFive\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\"\n                                        aria-labelledby=\"headingFive\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordionExample\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">1. Big Foot Global Academy (BFGA) shall ensure a fair and<br \/>\n                                                reasonable refund policy for any payments made.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">2. Students are required to pay their fees as laid out in<br \/>\n                                                the respective Student Contracts and by the date(s) stipulated in the<br \/>\n                                                invoice(s).<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">3. The complete Refund policies relating to both<br \/>\n                                                Withdrawals with Cause and Withdrawal without Cause are governed by the<br \/>\n                                                Student Contract entered between BFGA and the student.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">4. BFGA\u2019s Refund Policy is as follows:<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\"><b>Refund for Withdrawal Due to Non-Delivery of<br \/>\n                                                    Course<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">BFGA will notify the student within three (3) working days upon knowledge of any of the following:<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">BFGA fails, for any reason, to commence the Course on the Course Commencement Date;<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">BFGA terminates the Course for any reason, prior to the Course Commencement Date;<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">BFGA fails for any reason to complete the Course by the Course Completion Date;<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">BFGA terminates the Course for any reason prior to Course Completion Date;<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">BFGA has not ensured that the Student meets the course entry requirements set by BFGA stated in Schedule A of the standard student contract within any stipulated timeline set by CPE; or<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">The Student will be informed in writing of alternative study arrangements (if any), and also be entitled to a refund of the entire Course Fees and Miscellaneous Fees already paid should the student decide to withdraw, within seven (7) working days of the above notice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">Refund for Withdrawal Due to Other Reasons<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">If the Student withdraws from the Course for any reason other than those stated in Clause 2.1 of the student contract, BFGA will, within seven (7) working days of receiving the Student\u2019s written notice of withdrawal, refund to the Student an amount based on the table below.<\/p>\n<h2>REFUND TABLE : <\/h2>\n<table class=\"table table-bordered table-hover\">\n<thead class=\"thead-dark\">\n<tr>\n<th>% of the amount of fees paid under Schedules B<\/th>\n<th>If student&#8217;s written notice of withdrawal is received:<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>80%<\/td>\n<td>more than 30 days before the Course Commencement Date<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>10%<\/td>\n<td>before, but not more than 30 days before the Course<br \/>\n                                                            Commencement Date<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>0%<\/td>\n<td>after, but not more than 0 days after the Course<br \/>\n                                                            Commencement Date<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>0%<\/td>\n<td>more than 0 days after the Course Commencement Date<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h2>Refund during Cooling off Period : <\/h2>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">BFGA will provide the Student with a cooling-off period<br \/>\n                                                of seven (7)<br \/>\n                                                working days after the date that the Contract has been signed by both<br \/>\n                                                parties.<br \/>\n                                                The Student will be refunded the highest percentage (stated in Schedule<br \/>\n                                                D) of the fees already paid if the student submits a written notice of<br \/>\n                                                withdrawal to BFGA within the cooling-off period, regardless of whether<br \/>\n                                                the student has started the course or not.<\/p>\n<h2>Non Refundable Fees, no refunds will be made for fees that fall under<br \/>\n                                                this category : <\/h2>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">Application Fee is non-refundable and paid upon<br \/>\n                                                acceptance of offer.<br \/>\n                                                Bank Charges (if applicable) are to be borne by the student<br \/>\n                                                BFGA\u2019s Non-refundable fees are reflected in Schedule C of the Student<br \/>\n                                                Contract.<\/p>\n<p>                                                Students are briefed on the Refund Policy during pre-course counseling<br \/>\n                                                and during the orientation program.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n<h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"headingSeven\">\n                                        <button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\"\n                                            data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapseSeven\"\n                                            aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapseSeven\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\"><b>Privacy Statement<\/b><\/p>\n<p>                                        <\/button><br \/>\n                                    <\/h2>\n<div id=\"collapseSeven\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\"\n                                        aria-labelledby=\"headingSeven\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordionExample\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n<h2>DATA PROTECTION NOTICE<\/h2>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">This Data Protection Notice (\u201cNotice\u201d) sets out the basis<br \/>\n                                                which Big Foot<br \/>\n                                                Global Academy (\u201cwe\u201d, \u201cus\u201d, or \u201cour\u201d) may collect, use, disclose or<br \/>\n                                                otherwise process personal data of our customers in accordance with the<br \/>\n                                                Personal Data Protection Act (\u201cPDPA\u201d). This Notice applies to personal<br \/>\n                                                data in our possession or under our control, including personal data in<br \/>\n                                                the possession of organisations which we have engaged to collect, use,<br \/>\n                                                disclose or process personal data for our purposes.<\/p>\n<h2>PERSONAL DATA<\/h2>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">1. As used in this Notice:<br \/>\n                                                \u201ccustomer\u201d means an individual who (a) has contacted us through any<br \/>\n                                                means to find out more about any goods or services we provide, or (b)<br \/>\n                                                may, or has, entered into a contract with us for the supply of any goods<br \/>\n                                                or services by us; and \u201cpersonal data\u201d means data, whether true or not,<br \/>\n                                                about a customer who can be identified:<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">(a) from that data; or<br \/>\n                                                (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely<br \/>\n                                                to have access.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">2. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us,<br \/>\n                                                some examples of<br \/>\n                                                personal data which we may collect from you include your name and<br \/>\n                                                identification information such as your NRIC number, contact information<br \/>\n                                                such as your address, email address or telephone number, nationality,<br \/>\n                                                gender, date of birth, marital status, photographs and other<br \/>\n                                                audio-visual information, employment information and financial<br \/>\n                                                information such as credit card numbers, debit card numbers or bank<br \/>\n                                                account information.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">3. Other terms used in this Notice shall have the<br \/>\n                                                meanings given to them<br \/>\n                                                in the PDPA (where the context so permits).<\/p>\n<h2>COLLECTION, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA<\/h2>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">4. We generally do not collect your personal data unless<br \/>\n                                                (a) it is<br \/>\n                                                provided to us voluntarily by you directly or via a third party who has<br \/>\n                                                been duly authorised by you to disclose your personal data to us (your<br \/>\n                                                \u201cauthorised representative\u201d) after (i) you (or your authorised<br \/>\n                                                representative) have been notified of the purposes for which the data is<br \/>\n                                                collected, and (ii) you (or your authorised representative) have<br \/>\n                                                provided written consent to the collection and usage of your personal<br \/>\n                                                data for those purposes, or (b) collection and use of personal data<br \/>\n                                                without consent is permitted or required by the PDPA or other laws. We<br \/>\n                                                shall seek your consent before collecting any additional personal data<br \/>\n                                                and before using your personal data for a purpose which has not been<br \/>\n                                                notified to you (except where permitted or authorised by law).<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">5. We may collect and use your personal data for any or<br \/>\n                                                all of the<br \/>\n                                                following purposes:<br \/>\n                                                a) performing obligations in the course of or in connection with our<br \/>\n                                                provision of the goods and\/or services requested by you;<br \/>\n                                                b) verifying your identity;<br \/>\n                                                c) responding to, handling, and processing queries, requests,<br \/>\n                                                applications, complaints, and feedback from you;<br \/>\n                                                d) managing your relationship with us;<br \/>\n                                                e) processing payment or credit transactions;<br \/>\n                                                f) sending your marketing information about our goods or services<br \/>\n                                                including notifying you of our marketing events, initiatives and<br \/>\n                                                promotions, lucky draws, membership and rewards schemes and other<br \/>\n                                                promotions;<br \/>\n                                                g) complying with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice,<br \/>\n                                                guidelines, or rules, or to assist in law enforcement and investigations<br \/>\n                                                conducted by any governmental and\/or regulatory authority;<br \/>\n                                                h) any other purposes for which you have provided the information;<br \/>\n                                                i) transmitting to any unaffiliated third parties including our third<br \/>\n                                                party service providers and agents, and relevant governmental and\/or<br \/>\n                                                regulatory authorities, whether in Singapore or abroad, for the<br \/>\n                                                aforementioned purposes; and<br \/>\n                                                j) any other incidental business purposes related to or in connection<br \/>\n                                                with the above.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">6. We may disclose your personal data:<br \/>\n                                                a) where such disclosure is required for performing obligations in the<br \/>\n                                                course of or in connection with our provision of the goods or services<br \/>\n                                                requested by you; or<br \/>\n                                                b) to third party service providers, agents and other organisations we<br \/>\n                                                have engaged to perform any of the functions listed in clause 5 above<br \/>\n                                                for us.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">7. The purposes listed in the above clauses may continue<br \/>\n                                                to apply even in<br \/>\n                                                situations where your relationship with us (for example, pursuant to a<br \/>\n                                                contract) has been terminated or altered in any way, for a reasonable<br \/>\n                                                period thereafter (including, where applicable, a period to enable us to<br \/>\n                                                enforce our rights under any contract with you).<\/p>\n<h2>WITHDRAWING YOUR CONSENT<\/h2>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">8. The consent that you provide for the collection, use<br \/>\n                                                and disclosure of<br \/>\n                                                your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being<br \/>\n                                                withdrawn by you in writing. You may withdraw consent and request us to<br \/>\n                                                stop using and\/or disclosing your personal data for any or all of the<br \/>\n                                                purposes listed above by submitting your request in writing or via email<br \/>\n                                                to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details provided below.\n                                            <\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">9. Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your<br \/>\n                                                consent, we may<br \/>\n                                                require reasonable time (depending on the complexity of the request and<br \/>\n                                                its impact on our relationship with you) for your request to be<br \/>\n                                                processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to<br \/>\n                                                the same, including any legal consequences which may affect your rights<br \/>\n                                                and liabilities to us. In general, we shall seek to process your request<br \/>\n                                                within ten (10) business days of receiving it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">10. Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your<br \/>\n                                                consent, please note<br \/>\n                                                that depending on the nature and scope of your request, we may not be in<br \/>\n                                                a position to continue providing our goods or services to you and we<br \/>\n                                                shall, in such circumstances, notify you before completing the<br \/>\n                                                processing of your request. Should you decide to cancel your withdrawal<br \/>\n                                                of consent, please inform us in writing in the manner described in<br \/>\n                                                clause 8 above.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">11. Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect<br \/>\n                                                our right to<br \/>\n                                                continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such<br \/>\n                                                collection, use and disclose without consent is permitted or required<br \/>\n                                                under applicable laws.<\/p>\n<h2>ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF PERSONAL DATA<\/h2>\n<p class=\"sub-txt\">12.
